connected - engine dehydrator

Post by A2022 »

engine resting at low humidity. 10% is as low as this sensor will read, it's below that. desiccant is 4 years old and doing fine. closed loop system, runs 24 / 7 when connected. the nice thing about low humidity air in the engine is that it eventually reaches all the internal components, everywhere.

How does your system connect to the breather tube? I was using a rubber stopper but I pulled it out and the stopper got stuck in the tube. I had to take the top cowl off and run a wire through the breather tube to get it out. I changed to a 5/8" chair leg cap with a brass fitting drilled and pushed through it. It is easier to put on and take off.
