The most likely remote maintenance - a flat tire

Post by A2022 »

Hey, make sure to check the tubes you’ve been carrying around and consider bending them differently for storage. I recently had a flat on my bike (first in 2.5 years), and it turned out to be a tube failure. Just like with a bicycle, the most common remote aircraft maintenance you might need is fixing a flat tire. Be ready for it and know exactly how to handle it with your onboard toolset, jack and pump. Practice it in the hangar using only your onboard equipment.

I am on my third usage of the same airstop tubes. They will fail eventually.
