RV7A - ASN Report - N30SG

Post by A2022 »

Density altitude and go-around decision-making might have been factors in this accident. Unfortunately, it cost him his life—a high price to pay.

A Van's RV-7A, N30SG, sustained substantial damage when it was involved in an accident at Ryan Field (2MT1), West Glacier, Montana. The sole pilot sustained fatal injuries.

The FAA reported that he crashed and came to rest inverted down an embankment after the right wing clipped a tree during an attempted go around.
