I wonder if all this talk about the wheel up front being the right choice for you guys is making weathervane rethink his choices again.
Way to go Jim. I'm getting ready to align and drill my Grove Airfoil'd gear legs onto my 8 in the coming weeks if I can ever get out from a pile of work I have been busy with lately.

I'm doing great Jim, thanks for asking.
The gear definately was an expensive hunk of aluminun, but it will save me weight over the steel gear. The other advantage is the brake lines are "gun drilled" inside the legs so there's no chance of leakage/breaks like an external line. These are also the air foil shape gear, so I won't have to wrap the fiberglass fairings around them.
Once I get them hung, I'll be sure to take and post a pick for ya.
