Wow! Bet you'll be late getting to sleep tonight, and tomorrow, and ...

Did everything appear to arrive intact ? My wing kit is coming next month by ABF.

Yep! ABF has done a great job with both the larger kits thus far. This one didn't have a mark on it! My wing kit crate had some minor damage, but not inside. Everything is here and intact, except the aft top skin, which is backordered.

I'd like to, but I may have to fly tomorrow...

Well, technically, the next box will be the finish kit...THEN the engine! At least, I think that's the order it will happen. Never know with me!

I can! And it is a lot of parts! Glad it got there okay. When I inventoried mine I messed up and did not catch that I had some parts missing. I ordered the right side brake kit and it was all there except the pedals themselves. When I did catch it I called Van's and they basically said sorry to late. Ended up costing me for the parts, handling and extra shipping. The moral of the story is, make sure you don't miss anything!

Have fun! :)

Brings back memories!

1. You'll get good at fabricating parts out of aluminum angle. Make sure to learn the differences between the types of angle.

2. If you thought you were finished with platenuts, think again.

3. As you move through this kit, you will begin to have an airplane lookin' thing.

Good luck and have fun!
