Checkoway site gone

Post by RVNewsletter »

Adios, rvproject.com . Not sure why Dan decided to get rid of his site but it's gone, presumably forever.

Good substitute, though, if youre' looking is the Dignity project in the UK. Really great site.

Richard's site is a really good site, but I think he kinda fell off RV world last fall...no new updates in 2009. :(

I think it's just a server problem on Dan's site, since his other site http://www.checkoway.com is not functioning either.

BTW, Richard Horan sold his project early this year (or was it last year). So no updates on his great site.

For that site or any site there is always the Internet Archive. Here is Dan's site as of December 2003.

Many pictures missing tho.

Makes me wonder when he's going to pull the plug on Logshare.com. I actually use that site quite a bit and he doesn't make any money off that one. Guess I better update my logbooks.

I wonder what happened that caused this sudden need for privacy?

Wow...truly the end of an era. Dan's site was the main reason I build a RV and have made it as far as I have. I kind of wish I would of downloaded his site for my own reference. Anyone here buy one of his CD's?
