Gasolator for IO-360

Post by gsimatos »

I just got the firewall forward kit for the injected 360 and I don't see any gasolator in the drawings. Has anyone done this installation with a gasolator?

Gary, I am not planning on installing one but Andair makes a nice one that fits in the wing root(s).

The way I see it is, the lowest point in the RV-7 fuel system is the drain petcock. If any water collects anywhere, it will likely be there.

If I were building a nosedragger, I might think otherwise.

My $0.02 centavos.

CJ thanks. In Canada I think we must have a Gasolator so it can pass inspection. Will have to see what my lacal RV builders did with this problem. I got the Andvair valve so if I have to get the Gasolator then I think I would go with the Andair one also. Gary

If you "have" to have one, then you can't go wrong with Andair's.
