Wings are on! Well...two of the four... ;o)

Post by cjensen »

Friday night saw the joining of my wings for the final time...hopefully!

I have a set of wings from an OLD EAA Sport Biplane in my hangar (they belong to the chapter), and my friend Rich suggested that we have to get a picture of an RV-7 Biplane...

Anything for a good laugh!

Another big step Chad, the wings going on for the last time! Now keep in mind that things slow down a bit because it is so far to walk to get around the plane now, at least keep telling yourself that and don't believe it is because there are just a zillion things left to do that didn't make it to a list yet :-). Good thing the lower wings aren't as long as the upper ones or it would be a real hike.

Nice Chad!

Now you know what plane to build next! You already have some of the parts!

Good work Chad! I hope the rest of the process goes well for you! It is amaxing how long it takes to get it flying once you reach this point. But it is well worth it.

Chad, your emp fairing looks great. Looks like we are some of the very few that the thing actually fit out of the box....

You guys should have seen my RV -6A empenge fairing. I ended up remaking the horizonatal stablizer portion of it. Neither side fit right. I am glad I did it several years before assembly of the airplane.
