My trim cable anchor nut angle appears to be incorrect causing alignment issues when mounting the trim cover plate to the elevator. My plan is to bend the anchor nut some to fit, has anyone else run into this problem?

Hmmm, I have not heard of that issue personally. Though I would think that you could make adjustments within reason.
