In order to not look like an idiot, I searched and searched the manual looking for this page, or at least info on how to use the manual incase it mentioned something about this.
There's a step during the wing construction that says, "Drill the W-706-L spar for the stall warning system wire run. See OP46-02 Step 8 and OP46-02 Figure 3."
I can't find anything in the manual that has anything listed as numbered steps, as in "step 8". What the heck is OP46-02? Is this on the plans? manual?
Thanks for answering my stupid question.

Stall warner. Is that something I'm suppose to have in the kit? OR is it an options available from Vans? Is it recommended? Do most people install it? Why is the sky blue?

The stall warner is a mechanical switch built into the leading edge of the wing. It's now standard in the newer kits. I bought my wing kit about 5 years ago before these were standard, so my wings don't have it. I'm assuming Vans updated their instructions and drawings, and as has already been suggested, there should be separate intructions and drawings for the device.
How old is your wing kit? Did it come with it?

Yes my wing kit came with the stall warner and the leading edge skin is pre-drilled with the holes.
I just finished riveting together the inspection plate. There is a piece of cardboard with some flat aluminum pieces taped to it in the wing kit. On the back of the cardboard is the Stall Warner instructions!
I just found them today. The pic is the access hole in the leading edge wing skin for the stall warner electrics.
