Got my RV-7 preview plans

Post by svanarts »

WOW! Have the instructions manuals ever come a long way! These are NOTHING like the RV-4 manual I have where some of the pages are still typewritten. This is a super-cool deal. No jigs? Just a stand to hold things while you work on them? Whoa! Two piece fuselage? Crazy!

I'm liking this and I am sold! As soon as I get the RV-4 all finished up I'm ordering a RV-7 tail kit.

Welcome aboard!! I'm really happy with the kit so far. (I think you may have mispelled though - there is suposed to be an "A" after "RV-7")

No A no WAY! :)

I still need to finish up the tail on the -4 but once that's done I'll be buying an RV-7 tail kit.

Good deal. Did you get a build number yet? Or does that come with the wings? I am curious what yours is/will be as it is coming up on one year for me and I want to see how many kits sold since then. (my build number is in my signature)

It is nice. The match hole and no jigs to speak of is a real time saver. You'll enjoy it.

Got my preview plans at OSH. I'll have an address to ship my tail to after Monday. I'll close on the house then fax my order to Van's.

Can't wait to start banging rivets on my own plane.
