Rolling again

Post by jim_geo »

After a summer that should have been full of progress but wasn't :bang: I am finally getting some RV work done. I'm not complaining a week at Oshkosh and two weeks in Germany (Octoberfest ) and France was nice but it's time to git er done. After my fuel line fiasco I finally got to pound some rivets today. Here are a couple pictures of what I got done.

Good going Jim. Octoberfest can be kinda fun, I live in the town that hosts the largest Octoberfest outside of Germany. Most people book hotel rooms at least a year in advance because by end of this years fest, all the local rooms for next year are already booked. We get entries in the parade from all over Canada and the US as well as a few from Europe. The regional transit system offers free rides to help keep the roads a bit safer. Twenty five years ago there were lots of drunks on the road every night, this last ten years has been a lot better, more people just having fun. Anyway, glad to see some more pics Jim.

I got a little particular about the alignment of the brake pedals and came up with this very simple way to hold them all relative to each other. Slightly obvious but I haven't seen this done anywhere else. It's handy for for helping to locate the bolt holes when the connection of the master cylinders to the brake pedals are made.
