Wings are done. 8) I still have to install my nav and strobe lights in the wingtips, and install the wingtips themselves, but other than that, I'm all finished up! I really don't like how the reflections make the wings look...they do look nice in person (at least I think so).

So now I get some free time to work on some boat stuff, paint a few rooms, get the trim back up in the foyer, rake leaves, you know...all the stuff that has been on hold because there IS an airplane to construct! Man, I gotta get some more parts soon!!

The fuselage will be ordered next week.

Nice Chad, I like the aileron flap/gap and how the trailing edge lines up. Very nice! :good job:

Chad, you WERE busy last night!

Way to go!

I just got my Thor lights. Upon inital inspection, they look good! They aren't the easiest lights to install, but probably the slickest.

I will letcha know.

Yeah, I'd like to see these installed. A buddy of mine has them, but he has not put them in yet. They look slick! We'll have to compare "slickness" after I get my Jeff Bordelon LED's installed...

Which lights are you guys talking about?
Are they LED nav / position lights?
Any pics?
I would like to do the same. I haven't decided which wing tips I'm gonna use ... I have a pair of the old style flat top tips and a pair of the "batwings"...

They are LED nav/position lights.

Here's a couple of pics of the Thor LED's that CJ is using-

And the link to Thor's website-

Here's a couple of pics from Jeff Bordelon's website of the LED's I'm using-

Congrats Chad, but whatever are you going to do without parts for so long, you can't keep doing all those other chores for long, it just wouldn't be right, afterall, there should always be something obvious that needs doing in the house and leaves need to learn not to fall and stay on your yard, if you rake them they'lll never learn. I want LED nav lights too!

Excellent! Looks great Chad!

If you get really bored waiting on the wings to get here you can always buzz over to Iowa and help with my fuselage.

I'll just assume that you're still tired from your drive the other day, and substitute "fuselage" for "wings".
