How many RV7's can you squeeze in a T- hanger

Post by n701vb »

Hi All,

I'm getting ready to order my QB wings and fusalage and looking for a hanger to put them in. There are a few other 7 builders in the area who are also getting ready to move into a hanger and I want to try to share a hanger. Does anyone know if you can get two "in production" RV-7's in one T-hanger, or will it be too cramped?

I think you can probably do it. We have multiple RV's sharing hangars around here.

I have an RV-6 and a Cessna 120 in the same T hangar. It's tight but it works. I must raise the Cessna's right aileron to fit the RV's tail under it.
I have spots painted on the floor where the Cessna's wheels must be for the RV to fit. For multiple low wing airplanes, I'd think a little adjusting angles would produce a good fit.
