Finally did it!! Empennage has arrived!

Post by rv7garage »

The 2 well-packed boxes are sitting in my workshop as we speak. I don't have to tell you folks how excited I am... I just thought I'd share :)

Wish me luck!

WooHoo, enjoy! :D

I believe short of having children you have probably just embarked on the most frustrating and yet rewarding thing you can do with 25 years or so of your life :P

And so it begins ....

Congrats! You will remember this day as the one you started to learn all about a whole new set of skills, frustrations, and rewards.

Work on it every day and it will be done in about the same time it takes to get the wing kit lead time satisfied.

Take your time and don't drill/cut anything until you understand all of the directions!

Way to go!!! It's good to have another builder join the ranks! None of us will ever forget that feeling of bringing the empennage kit into the shop for the first time and getting started.

Keep us posted on your progress, okay?

Thanks for all the kind words, fellas. :)

Chad, I may just take you up on the offer when things warm up a bit... by then I may need an RV Ride (for morale, ya know!)

Bruce- I've lurked on your website more than once, and will definitely keep you posted- after all, I plan on 'stealing' a few of your ideas!

And as for you, Spike- thanks for keeping this site going, it's very much appreciated 8)
