Trim pieces included with emp kit- ??

Can anyone tell me what these trim pieces are for? Rectangular pieces of alclad sheet, looks like 3 ea of 3 different thicknesses. Thanks!

Just scrap to use throughout the project. I think they should be mentioned somewhere in the instructions.
