I went back and studied drawing 36A in detail, and there are definitely two washers called for here. Back when I installed this fitting it made sense to me at the time to put one on the outside of the skin and one on the inside, sandwiching the skin in between them. When I studied them again today, the drawings aren't clear on this at all.
You guys who are beyond this point, what did you do here? Did you relocate both washers inside the skin? That just seems weird to me. Or does the rubber seal fit without a problem here in spite of this washer?
