After disassembling everything, deburring, and then dimpling the skin and ribs, it is now time to rivet them together.
The first rib I am starting with is HS-707. Now that the rib and skin are dimpled, they don't fit together anymore. As you can see from the pic, the rib is clecoed to the skin but since the dimples are not fitting inside each other, the rib is not sitting up against the skin. In the picture below, you can see light between the rib and skin.

What's going on here? I'm using the same dimple dies on the ribs and skin. Is it a problem if there is a little space between parts like this? This is getting kind of frustrating because now none of the pieces I spent two weeks making fit together!!!
Any thoughts??
THanks!!
