I want to use pop rivets for the aft flange on the leading edge ribs but of course Vans does not state which rivets to use.
Does anyone who may have used pop-rivets know the type/size of rivets used?
Thanks

I'm pretty sure you need LP4-3's for them.
I orignally thought that trying to buck rivets in there would be too difficult, but after I started snaking my arm in the holes with the bucking bar I was able to shoot them all with regular rivets.

I agree!
I recall Thermos installing pulled rivets in those locations. I do think that they were LP 4-3's.
I bucked mine and they are far from being the hardest rivets to buck in the project. Give it a try!

I really don't want to try to buck rivets in this area. Seems I've read a lot of posts and a lot of builders logs where people started trying to buck rivets, and then switched to pulled rivets.
I don't want to be bucking rivets and then have to drill half of them out! I will just use pulled rivets as there is no disadvantage to using them.
I'm pretty sure there are three different lengths of rivets needed though.
