wing spar width

this question may have been missed in the other thread about wing jigs, so i thought i'd start a new one.

how wide is the spar on the -7? i am getting my stands all set up and installed today, and i need to know how long to cut the angle it will rest on.

Chad, looks like you already cut the angles.

They are 7 7/8" inches wide, overall.

You will need additional angle on the tip side, about 5" long for attachement to the outside rib. Get 8 #10 nuts, washers and bolts to fasten the stuff together.

thanks CJ! bill collins on VAF beat ya to it, so i went ahead and cut 'em. rudi has a great pick of the additional angle i'll need. i know exactly what you're talkin' about!
