Cabin Heat Selector Valve Location?

Post by chaskuss »

Listers,
I don't have my engine mount yet, but I'm trying do
get some of the stuff on the front of the firewall
nailed down. However, I've learned NOT to trust Vans
dimensions blindly. For those of you with IO-360s with
Forward facing fuel injection, did Vans location call
out for the Cabin Heat Selector Valve on DWG OP-34
work for you? :?
If it did, how much 2" SCAT tubing should I order for
FWF and inside the cabin?

Chas, I installed a 2" flange in the floor of the right intake scoop and ran the tubing along the right side of the engine under the valve covers and to the cabin heat valve located in the lower center of the firewall. I had to connect two pieces of tubing together. You will probably need about 5 ft.
Good luck!
