Post by stanman »

Well...my RV8...is finally airborne!....I flew first flight on July 1...and since then have been doing an hour at a time ...mainly concerning myself with engine run in...and generally getting to know the a/c...It flies very nicely!...seems quick!...temps and pressures all look good!...may be a rudder trim tab in my future.?...ie.needing slight right rudder..level at 2.500ft...26..map 2500rpm...IAS..approx 164...leg pants only..some variation between my grt efis and dynon re ball deflection....... would appreciate input from other RV8 builders...re.. rudder trim tabs?...40 hr test period...so lots more work to do!!....rgds to all... stan :)

Stanman!!!

Quite nice!!!

I wasn't expecting a painted plane. Did you paint it before assembling it?

Hmmmm, wondering if I should do that too?

Looks great!
