F-857-B seat belt attach parts

Anyone know if I'm suppose to make the F-857-B angle piece from something other than called out for in Van's plans on drawing 32?

The drawing calls out AA6-125X1X1 1/2 as the raw stock to use, but I can't find any of that.. I do have some 125 X 1 1/2 X 2" angle but not sure if it's for something else.

I think I'll call vans to find out and report back..

Dave, The .125 X 1 1/2 X 2 is for the front wing attach brackets. Don't use those for the 857 B brackets. Look again, you should have the 1 X 1 1/2 stock there somewhere. If not tell Van's and they will send you some.

I spoke with Van's and they say they don't list/sell Aluminum Angle in that dimension. I even checked their online part/catalog web site and sure enough could not find any 1 X 1 1/2. They said to cut it out of the 1 1/2 X 2 X 30" piece. So I did that, and figure if I don't have enough for the wing attach brackets, then I'll just ask Van for some more, free of charge.
