742DA goes to the hanger

Post by Dan A »

Yesterday I finished painting and moved the plane to the hanger for final assembly. Today I got the tail group installed and the wings on. But I need to pull the left wing back out a little. I forgot to connect a few things ---like the pitot and static lines, and the lights :bang: :bang: Oh well! live and learn!! 8) may be flying with in a month!! Yah!!

Well, Today I pulled the left wing and connected up everything then put the bolts back in then did the emmpty weight and ballance. She came in at 1100 lbs. on the nose with the empty cg at 79.86 in. Not too bad and with me and full fuel the cg should be about 81.42 in. Alittle bit forward and I have my battery in the back and it weights 27 lbs!
Will I have her flying by Osh? I hope to have all the 40 hrs off before Osh! I am planning on flying in about three weeks if all goes well.
Dan soon in the air!! :yay: :yay: :yay:
