Post by Jim Martin »

Finally made the decision on the 9A and ordered the empennage and the deposit for the quick build.Any suggestions as to what I might do to get a jump on the arrival of the parts. Thanks in advance. Jim

You are correct. To make it worse Patti and I are the hosts of this holiday. I popped the boxes to pull the paperwork out and thats where it stands. I dont think Ill even get to start the inventory until sometime on Saturday. Oh well, at least I can go downstairs and peak in between dinner courses ;) This is too awesome :)

Come on now, comb your hair and smile for the camera! That's all there is to it! Hell... I didn't even smile in my picture! Come to think of it, I don't even have that much hair!

Uh, I did warn you and not more than 12 hours ago. Hmm, maybe some memory pills would help?

LOL

Fair warning, simply not heeded!

:P

You do look HAPPY with those boxes though!

How much you got done today?

What time is turkey dinner?

We eat at 13:00 Eastern. Then at 18:00 I go to my Aunt's place and eat again!

That will gross out my little JEEP! Better go light on fuel!

new tail

Post by 182ppl »

congrats on your new diversion. dont know if all your tools are set up but I did find that the table top band-saw has been invaluable in my tail construction. bought one at Sears for $99. I hope to use your forum for years to come. D. Munz finishing the tail (trailing edges, dont want to mess with the black death yet)

Ive got the shop setup but I skipped on the band saw. I opted instead for an air powered cutoff wheel as recommended by a friend. I figure Ill find out how good that decision was as soon as I start cutting the angle stock for my HS brackets.
