fuel line assembly?

Post by Joe Casey »

Is there a product (lubricant/sealer) of any sort to put on AN fuel fittings when tightening them up on the fuel lines?... also, is there a guide for torque settings?

Joe-

With flared AN fittings, you do not want ANY type of sealant or lubricant. If anything, you want it to be as clean as possible. What I typically do i s just wipe down the mating faces with acetone.

As far as Torque specifications go, this is a great guide I found on Van's site (and copied to my site):
