Aerosport Products

Post by leffler »

Since it's been awhile since there has been any RV-10 news here, I'll try to get things started again.

Geoff Combs announced his company's new web site (www.aerosportproducts.com) this weekend. At the moment, the products are primarily RV-10 orientated. For those that aren't familiar with Geoff, he's the manufacturer of the carbon fiber instrument panel that Stein is selling.

I will admit I'm a little biased in regards to Geoff's products. He used my canopy to digitally scan to produce precise dimensions for his overhead console design. I also helped him with the web site.

Geoff's products were shown at Airventure at Stein's and AFS's booth, as well as the RV-10 HQ at Camp Scholler.

Another shameless plug....

Geoff just rolled out his interior panels for the RV-10. These make your RV-10 interior very similiar to an automobile. (especially the rear air vent)

His carbon fiber overhead console will be available by the end of the week. It's significantly lighter than the previous fiberglass units and doesn't have the air leak issues around the access panels either.

WOW!

That stuff is so cool it makes me wish I had enough friends so that I could justify building a 4 seater!

You know there is an option to haul a motorcycle underneath?

I think Geoff is looking to expand to other RV models, but doesn't want to expand to rapidly. I would give him a call when you're ready to do your interior and see what he can offer.
