Anybody put a deposit on a new engine lately. Just trying to decide. I hear Superior won't have their cold horizontal induction replacement sump till October. I would really like to be ready to place an order around S&F time (middle of April). My finishing kit will be arriving around the end of March. IO-360 parallel horizontal induction is what I told Vans.

I have a Mattituck engine about ready to hang. They built exactly what I wanted and are great guys to deal with. They will build whatever you want using whatever parts you want, Lycoming, Superior, ECI, etc. I have a parallel valve, horizontal injection, 9:1 ECI Millennium cylinders with 2 P-mags. I had them use a Lycoming case since I wanted roller tappets and I like Lycoming's better than Superior's. I also had them install a B&C starter that I supplied. They worked with me to get exactly what I wanted. I don't think you can go wrong with Mattituck. And in my case they are close enough that I drove over and they put the engine in the back of my Jeep.

Thanks Paul. I emailed with Mahlon over the weekend. They are having another special $1.000 off TMX engines for a limited time. I am also looking at dual p-mags and rollers with standard pistons.
