Mattituck "Alpha" engines?

Post by captain_john »

Mahlon,

I saw the ad in Sport Aviation this month broadcasting the "Alpha" moniker.

What is up with that? How is an "Alpha" engine different that one that has been in production all along?

I didn't see anything different in the ad.

Could you clue us in?

Alpha series engines

Post by Mahlon »

Increased the warranty from one year to two years on standard engines and changed the warranty terms on all engines, to start the warranty on first start up regardless of calendar time, not 6 months from delivery as it was previously. TCM is branding all of their engines into the ALPHA series and will have other benefits for engines in the series, as time goes on. Hopefully, we will see electronic registration of the engine, with automatic electronic updates for SB, AD, etc, in the near future. Also hope to be able to expand, on the offers of the current TCM LINK system, for most of our engines as well.
It's nice to see that someone notices the new ads!
Good Luck,
Mahlon
