I recently got my 7-A flying and am sorting out all the odd details. My oil temperature is slow to come up and I'm wondering what the minimum temp should be before I takeoff.
Also, at cruise my #4 CHT runs 125 degrees cooler that cyls 1, 2 & 3. Is this a serious problem. If so, what do I do about it? (My EGTs all run consistant within 25 degrees of each other).
My Grand Rapids EFIS calls for me to set certain engine limits or parameters. One is the rate of CHT cooling. What is an acceptable degrees per minute of cooling (during let down), and what should I set the warning buzzer at?
