Today was tear down day! Well, kinda. Not a full tear down, but we pulled the cylinders off so I can paint it this weekend. Thanks to my friend, and A&P Ray, for showing me the ropes!
On the stand-
First one about off!
Cylinder bin is full-
Top caps in place, ready to clean and paint!

Ready to paint...
In the paint room...the case is now silver!
The cylinders are now red!
I used 500 degree rated engine paint in a spray can. Goes on REALLY nicely!

Looks good Chad! Did the pistons stay in their respective cylinders?
I think you should alternate red/silver on the cooling fins

Sorry, I was busy drooling over the birds in the background of the picture - did you say something about an engine?

That's going to look great upfront Chad. There are advantages to working where you do.

No need, a file or cold chisel and hammer should work fine for taking the red paint off of every other fin
