The spouse ask what I was reading, so I told her. I must have got excited and was mumbling about engines and talking with Bart at Arlington in 2 weeks....anyway, She jumped up during the conversation, and now I can't find my wallet/checkbook. :dunno:

Bart, I just pinged your website and I see that there are quite a few users of the 375 listed there.

See: http://www.aerosportpower.com/vans.htm

I had no idea!

I do like the no speed restriction idea of the counter weighted crank.

Perhaps a counter weighted angle valve IO-375 with a Airflow Performance Injection system, a P-Mag and a Slick Start on the other side would give me 200 plus HP on low compression?

Does that sound like a good combo to you?

CJ the 375 crankshaft isn't available in a counter weighted version yet. I would like to be able to build them with counter weights. Maybe if we put more pressure on good old Glen at ECI, he will make it happen.

Oh, I see.

So you were essentially thinking of an IO-360 A1B6 knock off?

CJ Very close to the A1B6. Minor differances.
