IO-360 Baffle Kit Instructions

Post by RobDob »

Hi all

Does anyone have a copy of the instructions for the IO-360 Baffle Kit they could scan & e-mail me please? Part number for the kit is BAF-8-IO360. No instructions came with the kit and Vans keep giving me instructions which state 'O-360 ONLY' on them!! My engine is angle valve in case that is of any relevance.

Any help gratefully received!!!

Cheers

Rob

Rob,

There is very little difference between the cylinders for the IO-360 and O-360. The biggest difference I can think of is you will need to put a hole in the back of the baffle for fuel line going to the spider. If you have a CS prop, you will also need to provision for the oil line in the front right baffle.

The baffles take a little patience. The golden rule I heard is you don't want any more than the area of the face of a Quarter in leaks between your baffles and your engine.

Good Luck!
