I run 2 machines here. I often have double sessions running. One in the workshop and one in the house. If I want to check the board in one place and I have recently visited the board from the other, my machine sees my own posts as being "new".
Obviously this is a cookie issue.
Suggested workaround:
Put a few "Mark all topics as READ" commands around the site.
This will come in handy for others as well, I am sure as it will help the infrequent user to create a new startpoint from which to read his/her messages from.
Whatcha think?

It's all over but the flying! 800+ hours in only 3 years!
Good idea John. I usually just ignore, or logout and login to get around that problem. A few of those mark all as read links would do just fine. I know there is one aroudn here somewhere I just cant ever remember where it is. Where would you suggest that we put them?

Ok, Ill look into it over the holiday or sometime in the near future. The one that is around is for marking all topics read in each individual forums. Ill have to look through the PHP and see if I can find one for all forums. There may also be a hack already out there.

There happened to be a link for marking all forums read but it was hard to find on the main page. As such Ive added another copy of that link to the top of the site in the same grouping as the "View posts since last visit" link. Let me know how this works out for you guys.
Anything else that is bothering you guys?

I was going to ask you about the skyhawk. Those pictures sure looked awsome. I'm sure it must feel like a new glove. All joking aside, it sure is hard to beat a good old 172. They almost fly and land themselves. You can find parts anywhere and find someone to work on them everywhere.
Glad you were able to get back up there. Our forcast out here is still rain and more rain for the next four days or so.. I guess I could always go to the airport and clean her belley!!
