I had to tighten mine up when I filled the tanks. Just be sure to loosen the bottom nut then turn the lower part of the cap in a little to tighten the rubber seal. I think I almost threw it away befotre I figured out that the bottom part of the cap is threaded! The nut is for safety purposes!

Hmmmm, I wonder if it opens beer bottles too!?!

Speaking of that, cleco pliers do a GREAT job opening bottles when used upside down! Anyone ever tried that?

Seriously, you use the driver on the end of your fuel tester. You DO check the sumps after fueling don't you?

I already have a cap opener that I carry with me on my keychain. It's a "custom" opener that I got from Jack Holland. I'll post a pic of it at some point...
