Oshkosh Discounts

Post by bullojm1 »

For those that have been to Oshkosh, do you know what discounts vendors typically offer on their goods? I am planning to go this year and buy most of my avionics (AFS and Dynon mainly).

seems like you see around 20% most of the time.

Don't know if that'll apply to the big EFIS players or not!

Engine prices

Post by aparchment »

I have seen $500 off engines with free shipping. I think that's pretty typical. Otherwise I don't recall seeing anything earth shattering. You can definitely save a few hundred dollars and shipping on your avionics though. It's the icing on the cake for getting to attend a great aviation event.

Mike, I bought my AFS display at OSH last year. You save a little (not 20%) and it is worthwhile.

You put your name on the list with no money down. They call you in 10 weeks for the build criteria and payment.
