Belted Air Power...CHEVY!
Dimensions
Have you check dimensions on some of the alternative injection modules? Maybe the stock...er, junk...er, stock Bendix injection won't easily fit for you, but have you looked at AFP? Maybe they (or someone else) has something that will dimensionally fit for you application.

AFP only requires a return line for the purge valve. If you didn't make provisions for it (I didn't), you can "T" into one of your tank lines. No biggie. It doesn't use a return like a typical high pressure fuel injection module.
If you give 'em a shout, they will be more than happy to give you the info you are looking for. I contacted them about my ram air setup, and Don was awesome to work with.

Gale Derosier in St. Charles Mo. is the gentleman with the Belted Air Power PSRU coupled with a V-6 Chevy in his Mustang II. The numbers he gave me three years ago were:
Max engine RPM of 3700 resulting in 192 MPH
Cruise engine RPM of 3400... 170 MPH and fuel burn of 6.7 GPH
(He said 3400 RPM was coasting for this engine)
Lazy engine RPM 3000... 145 MPH with a 5.4 GPH fuel burn
The prop is ground adjustable and the above numbers were with the prop adjusted for a 1600 FPM climb. Note: the engine has a cam which maximizes torque and this is why full throttle is 3700 RPM and not some higher number.

I believe Gale sold his Mustang II, or has it for sale...correct?
Those numbers are really good, and have been repeated many times with the Chevy installation. I really like this alternative, and would certainly consider it if I want to switch in the future.
I don't really agree with the "coasting" of the engine at 3400rpm...it's working moderately. Not hard on it, but certainly not coasting. I know those aren't your words Dave, so that's not directed at you...
It's a great package, and Jess has been a straight shooter forever.
to Rivetbangers Dave!
