Announcement: My dad is now a Snap On man! Something they (my parents) have been working on for the last few months, and about three weeks ago, my dad returned from Snap On school in Dallas, and he and I drove to Crystal Lake, IL to pick up his Snap On truck.
I've seen some of our mechanics use these tools, and have had the chance to "play" with them in the past, but I do have to say after being on his truck numerous times in the last couple of weeks, that there really IS a difference in these tools!
I've slowly started to collect (replace) some tools, and I'm REALLY impressed with the quality of the stuff. Yeah, it's EXPENSIVE...but the lifetime warranty makes up for that in the long run.
I bought a new air drill last week to replace my Matco...can't really have a Matco air drill in my tool chest when your dad is a Snap On man...and I have to say, it's got the sweetest tease trigger on it, and the sound it SO COOL! I also learned that Sioux tools is owned by Snap On, and if you like Sioux...you'll like Snap On.
Just wanted to share the news! It's pretty cool being able to run over to mom and dad's to visit the Snap On store now!
Snap On!
