Around here, most houses are selling for approximately the sum of their parts. In Rangeley, Maine they are selling for LESS than the sum of their parts!
That is a problem for the construction industry, especially when we have a housing glut like this.
I have seen more houses for sales this year than ever before. I have also notice a large number of foreclosures.
Do you think there are more RV's and RV projects for sale now than last year?
Do you think that Van is selling less kits as of lately?
I really do hate to be a nay sayer but I don't see this year being financially better for the economy (people of the United States) thank previous ones.
I don't think it's over gentlemen.
Oh! ...and Michele just added another great point. Many people are using credit to keep afloat before they are filing bankruptcy! It is a false economy gentlemen!
We are seeing food costs go up. A bag of chopped walnuts in the cabinet purchased 6 months ago was $6.99. Last week the same bag at the same store was $9.99. Fuel is going through the roof and that will impact the cost of EVERYTHING!
