I had an old flight instructor tell me that once.

He was a great guy. I did some Instrument training with him.

Without fail, everytime we would land and as I was pulling off the runway he wouyld say, "Once again skill and cunning has triumphed over fear and superstition."

I will never forget him or that saying.

I don't think he is still with us. He was 80, eight years ago and his phone number is no longer is service. I will never forget him!
