Bob Collins' YouTube Question Answer

Post by bullojm1 »

Bob posted the following on youtube about a question with his exhaust:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUavdrSN ... ure=autofb

And here is the answer, picture form of course:

The only real trick here is to use a 1/4" drive 1/2" socket instead of a 3/8" drive. The reason this works is the 1/4" drive sockets have a thinner sidewall. For the record, I am using Craftsman sockets. Beneath that is a 1/4" to 3/8" drive adapter, then a 3/8" union, and the 3/8" extension. Now, you might be better off with a 1/4" union, especially for #3 cylinder, but I didn't have one.

Here is a pic of my collection of sockets on the #3 cylinder:

Bob, absolutely loved the video...

Future video request!

My wife would like a video demonstration on how to properly enter an RV without holding on to the canopy or the rollbar fairing (slider of course)

All I can say is that Bob missed his true calling... He has the perfect face for radio... er, television.

Oh, and did you know my first wife?

Sweet plug! Thanks Bob!

Time to put a bunch of advertising on my website to profit from the inrush of new traffic I am about to experience
