I have significantly cut back on my beer consumption lately. While I still enjoy it, I found that it was negatively impacting my metabolism and muscle recovery after exercise, so I’ve limited myself to just an occasional drink with a meal—I’ve only had one beer in the last two months, and three total this year. I just don't want them much anymore. Looking back, I realize that even when I appeared to be healthy, my habits weren't actually supporting my well-being the way I thought they were.
