Starting on the tanks!

Post by captain_john »

Well, I am prepping the ribs and skins for the tanks now.

I am kinda sorting things out in my head and on the workbench at the same time.

I was wondering what to do about a scale to measure the tank sealant to approximate the 100:10 ratio that is called for in the data sheets for the FlameMaster ChemSeal product.

I came up with this gizmo:

What do you think about it? Ten clecos on one side and one on the other. Tightening the set screw on the bottom should secure the calibration. Not bad for junk haning around, I think!

Now I need to scare up some cups to dangle off the hooks to put the product in. Hmmmmm

I wish that you were here when I start building. I will have to rely on you guys alot I feel.

Very smart people here. Thank goodness!!
I would never have thought of that. I would have gone out and bought a scale or worse, used the Misses cooking scale.

I think I would get in trouble.
