Packing my kit away ...

Post by Spike »

Tis a sad day today. I am now starting to pack up my unfinished tail kit   Tomorrow we settle on the new home with a move date of 8/10. I have no clue when I will be able to get back to the RV. Bang some rivets for me guys ... :lame:

We will all do our best to bang as many rivets as we can for ya spike...unfortunately, all the rivets we bang for you, will not be on your kit, and your kit will look the same when you get back to it. :|

Best of luck on the move, and get back to it as soon as you can!!!

Back to fluting ribs for me! :)

Well, the most infrequently used :lame: sign has been pulled from the archives!

Spike, these are the times when we need to stretch out a gear in order to make the next gear more powerful!

Know what I mean?

Keep it going! We need that horsepower! Torque will come!

See you soon!

That is a bummer. I had to do the same thing with my RV-4. I had JUST received the fuselage kit when we had to move because our new house was still under construction and our too-efficient realtor sould our existing house. Talk about a caged lion.

Just remember, this too shall pass. Seasons of life and all that.

The good news here is that it will be like Christmas all over when I get the boxes back out. Heck, how many people get to open their wing kit twice on the same build ?!?!

Hang in there Spike. Moving can be very time consuming. Even after the move. I moved into a new house and never imagined how much work I was getting myself into. Landscaping almost killed me. But heck, now when I sit on my deck drinking a cold one, I can look at and see where my fuselage money went. :bang:

Your going to make me cry Bill. I wouldn't be surprised if its 12 months before I get back into it.
