PEI sheet to carbon fiber floor plates

Post by A2022 »

the PEI sheet installed on the pilot side is wearing well. time to install to the co-pilot side.

the nice thing about carbon fiber is that they do not curl over time like the aluminum floor plates did.

3M PEI sheet is tougher than urethane. it is the same as the gear material in a Slick mag. trade name "Ultem".

This is absolutely the best thing you can do for your feet, because the heel is floating on a thin flexible plate with air underneath. Really good for the long cross-country trips.
