What happens at the rear spar where the inboard wing skin and wing walk doubler overlap? At the outer edge where the doubler ends there must be a stepoff - is this an issue? I am just getting prepped to rivet the wing skins. Does anyone bevel this at all like the overlap between the wing skins?
What are you guys doing there?

Thomas, you sure do have alotta questions today!!! You are some kinda HI maintenance!
The ww dubblah is unnoticeable under the top inner skin as the distance to the next skin is like... 7" away. No need to bevel any edges.
At the rear spar, it ends about 1/16" after the rear spar flange. The top skin just lays on top and the 3 slices get slammed together for the full length of the ribs.
I primed them all. Don't wanna get corrosion in between all that stuff!
Hope this helps!

I am hi maintenance! Wait until I start asking about engine / prop combos!
I got the part about it being unnoticeable as the rib is farther away ... just at the rear spar, where the doubler sits between the spar and the skin, the next rivet outboard from the edge of the doubler (where there is just skin and rear spar being riveted) is what I'm wondering about - is there a "jog" there. I'm at work now - I'll look at it in the shop this afternoon and take a pic to show what I'm talking about.
