Build Sites are Priceless

Post by Womack2005 »

So last night I primed the rear wing spars and doublers that go with them  so tonight I will be ready to rivet it all together.

But before I primed the parts I went to the usual builder web sites to make sure I hadn't missed anything. Now that I am building the wings, the Vans instructions don't exactly hold your hand anymore.

Just wanted to throw out another big thank you to everyone who maintains a build site. They have helped a lot and have allowed me to bypass a lot of grief.

Also, I see that Brad O has added a search feature to his site. Way to go Brad

I have to second this Will. I've used builder sites almost as much as I've used plans to get these wings built. Here Here!!

Priceless? Damn straight!

I certainly wouldn't have even entertained the idea of building my own airplaine if those before me hadn't taken the time to put down the process in electrons for all to see.
