Yes it does have audio input features. I havent had the opportunity to make use of that feature yet. The 340 also has the ISO functions and one that allows the pilot & copilot to monitor and transmit on different Comms simultaneously.

Nice, maybe you could set yours up to accept a sub mini stereo phono plug for a portable device?

It already is. Look on the right side of the panel below the headset jacks. You will see a 1/8" TRS jack labled "Audio input". Here:

Oh, and while you are at it, reverse the polarity on the ammeter and hook up that PTT!

I used one of these in a helicopter for about 6 months. It was very user friendly. Lots of features and I did love the fact that I could isolate the rest of the ICS and get on with Flying, Navigating and Communicating.

I will be getting one of these. No doubt about it.
