Wanted to share this view with the rest of you. If anyone comes to Oregon to see Van's it's not a bad idea to go to see the Evergreen Museum. A very short hop by plane or short drive by car.

Boy that 'ol Goose just looks like it wants to get OUTSIDE and FLY!! Kinda sad in that pic with the grey skies, and an airplane that only got to fly once...

8) Pic, looks like a GREAT place to visit! I've been to the Boeing museum, but didn't get to Evergreen (yes, I know they are in different states...).

Not to worry Spike, we can all go there together and celebrate once our projects are flying. Would make a great trip to have all of us New England RV bangers form up and trip together across the country for a week or two. :)

McMinnville is a cool airport. I stopped there a couple of years ago when visiting my cousin in Oregon. The people at the FBO are really nice, even to California pilots. Folks in the FBO told me you can also camp on the field. Let me know when you east coasters are coming to see the goose and I'll be there.
