Funny you should mention that, the F111 has an internal weapons bay as well.

It also has two filthy great afterburning engines to get all that weight off the ground, but thats irrelivant. I rekon with the right mods here and there we could get an RV to roughly the same capability... though im not sure your wing planform could handle mach 3.

any takers?

I was thinking that it could be fun to make an external, centerline mounted duffel bag case that just happened to be shaped like a bomb

UPDATE: (and getting the thread back on topic)

Lemme tells ya, there is more to this than meets the eye. I dunno how Dan kept the pace he did when he was building his plane, but I fully expected this to be at this stage about a month ago!

:o

I have it all dimpled, primed and assembled... ready to rivet!

Those close tolerance bolts gave me FITS! I did manage to get 4 AN4's in per side, though!

Leaving out the seat belt brackets and a few bolts here and there will make bucking ALOT easier in some places!

I need to start thinking about joining the tailcone to this thing soon!

The jig gets LARGER!

HOLLER!

Maybe Sunday?

I think Saturday I may be going to Thermos' house to give him a hand on his tanks.

Wicked Stick said that he may be available on Sunday too. If you do come, please bring the dog's water bowl.
